These are great photos. So that’s what a red-shouldered hawk looks like. My son-in-law photographed what he thought was one. I don’t think it was according to these. I have to show yours to him. The thing lives on his deer lease property so I’m sure he’ll see it again in hunting season. Thanks.
Oh, now I see why they look different. They’re BABIES! How too very cute they are! 🙂 I bet people rarely get photos of them as babies … especially two on a limb together! The fledging time doesn’t last long. I think this was a fortuitous photo op!
You got chickens? Well, of course they are eyeballing them. I love chickens. The Silkies are my favorites, but I like all kinds of chickens. I’d have a pet chicken or two if I didn’t live in this dumb neighborhood where you can’t keep “farm animals” of any kind. Good grief! 🙂
Very pleasing wild life photography!!! Cheers Nonoy Manga
Thank you Nonoy Manga! Blessings to you!

These are wonderful, Lori.
Hoping you’re well,

Thank you. Hope you are as well. Happy Weekend!
Wonderful birds, especially the nice ducks. These birds never wait for me to get close enough…
Thank you, Bente! Your photos are always so beautiful, so I really appreciate this kind comment!
Great photos! I love the white pelicans and enjoy them when they come our way in the fall.
Thank you Jonel!
I think your photos are clearer than real life! Amazing quality and color. You have an “eye.” 🙂
Thank you Dor!
Hi Lori, thanks for visiting my blog. Nice to hear from a fellow Texan and also like photographing birds. I will look forward to more from you.
Hello Bob, I love your work, maybe I can learn a thing or two from you. Thanks for taking time to stop by and say hello. 🙂
I love birds and the shots are so very beautiful! Thanks for your visits Lori, they always bless my day!
Ditto my friend! 🙂
All the photos were good, but the photo of the hawk was amazing. So amazing.
Thank you so much!

Thank you George! These are cute little guys. I hope they aren’t eyeballing my chickens for an easy future meal though. 😉
